In this edition we introduce Prof Ntabiseng Ogude, the new Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. She shares her vision for continuing education in South Africa.

We also launch our flagship publication, the 2010 Course catalogue, which contains in excess of 500 certificate courses. If you intend training next year you will be sure to find what you are looking for in this course catalogue.  You may download your free copy today!

The role of education within a profession and the importance of having professional bodies accredit certain programmes are also highlighted within this newsletter.

There are also some interesting developments taking place in corporate South Africa, that is, the King III Report and the new Companies act which will come into effect in 2010.

The month of August brought to our attention the number of women entrepreneurs who are starting successful ventures. Ipeleng Mkari shares with us her experiences of being a woman entrepreneur.
